Two-Minute Silences for Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day
The Cannon Park Shopping Centre will unite with the nation in remembrance this November, observing two-minute silences at 11am on Remembrance Sunday (9 November) and 11am on Armistice Day (11 November).
Shoppers, staff, and visitors are warmly invited to pause and reflect in the centre’s main concourse as the community comes together to honour those who have served and sacrificed in times of war and peace.
“We’re proud to join the national act of remembrance and provide a space for our community to reflect together,”
“The two-minute silence is a simple but deeply meaningful way to show our gratitude and respect for all who have served.”
The silences will coincide with commemorations across the country marking 106 years since the end of the First World War.
Cannon Park Shopping Centre encourages everyone to pause, remember, and reflect—whether by joining the gathering in the concourse or standing quietly wherever they are during the silence.
