Cannon Park Primary School Celebrates Black History Month and Remembrance Day

We’re pleased to share a special display created by pupils at Cannon Park Primary School, exploring Black History Month and its links with Remembrance Day.

The display recognises the contributions and sacrifices of people from diverse backgrounds throughout history, highlighting stories that deserve to be remembered and celebrated. Through historical profiles, written work and poppy artwork, pupils have explored the importance of remembering individuals whose bravery and service have not always received the recognition they deserve.

The display offers visitors an opportunity to reflect on the many different people who have helped shape our history and the importance of keeping their stories alive.

We’d like to thank the pupils and staff at Cannon Park Primary School for creating such a thoughtful display and sharing their work with the Cannon Park community.
